The BALM Family Recovery LIfe Coach Training Curriculum offers a richness of training and preparation that will allow you to go out into the world fully equipped:

  • with expertise in the Be A Loving Mirror Family Recovery Education Program
  • with expertise in how to help families move through their family recovery using the BALM Holistic Model of Family Recovery Development
  • as a facilitator of the BALM 12 Principles Program
  • as a professional with a business model designed to be sustainable over time

Is it for you? Perhaps you do not need or want ALL of this rich training. Maybe you are coming to us already trained in certain aspects of our offering. Maybe you would like to spend less money initially or maybe you are not ready.

To accommodate a wide range of needs and interests, the BALM Training Institute offers the following options to you at this time:

Facilitator

Master the BALM Family Recovery Curriculum and become certified as a facilitator of the BALM 12 Principles!

Receive a turnkey curriculum including everything from marketing materials, guidance on course set up, to fully scripted lessons, powerpoint slides, required student text and handbook for purchase, and options for additional materials to share with your students.

This is also known as Component One of the Full Coach Training Program and includes access to the BALM Family Recovery Education Program.

About half of those who take this component alone later choose to add the entire coach training program and in the meantime begin their career as facilitator of this powerful, solution-focused curriculum.

Advanced Coaching

If you have already trained as a life coach in an ICF program, you may just want to master the BALM, become a facilitator, and become a BALM Family Recovery Life Coach. Of course, we will need to check your transcripts and skill level, but if you qualify, we will allow you to skip those portions of the life coach training that you qualify out of and take our advanced offerings:
